Civilian injured in Pak shelling succumbs in Srinagar hospital

Srinagar, March 20 (GNS): A civilian who was injured in cross-border shelling in north Kashmir’s Uri sector earlier this month succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS Soura here in Srinagar.

Reports reaching GNS said that Reyaz Ahmad (32) son of Sader Din resident of Batar Kundi Barjala Kamalkote succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar hospital who was injured in cross border shelling earlier this month.

A senior police officer also confirmed the death and said three other persons who were injured with him are stbale.

Pertainally, on 10 March four civilians were injured in cross border shelling in which two were later reffered SKIMS Soura for advance treatment. (GNS)
