Srinagar, Dec 14 : Clashes rocked near the site of a gunfight in Kharpora Sirnoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday, leaving a civilian dead and many injured.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said soon after news of gunfight spread in the area scores of youth hit the streets and pelted stones on forces.
In the clashes one civilian was killed while several were injured.
The deceased identified as Aamir from Ashmandar.
Pertinently there militants were killed in an brief encounter in Pulwama village this morning.
Meanwhile railway authorities suspended train services from Banihal to Baramulla as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order problem following the killing of three militants, civilian in Pulwama.
