Srinagar, May 14 : Condemning the killing of a civilian in the Kashmir valley on Wednesday, the Jammu Kashmir Ummat-e-Islami has asked for the immediate intervention of the global community over the escalating human rights violations in the Kashmir valley.
A Fateh Khwani was held here for Mehraj u Din killed in alleged forces action in Budgam on Wednesday.
The Jammu Kashmir Ummat-e-Islami has expressed grief over the untimely demise of journalist Tanveer ul Ahad.
The organisation expressed heartfelt condolence on Tanveer’s demise and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Ummat-e-Islami also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
