Says Relevant details already shared with Media; unfortunate trusted person behind the heinous murder

Jammu, Oct 04: Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh on Tuesday said that it’s really unfortunate that a trusted person is behind the heinous murder of DGP Prison’s.

Talking with media as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Police Chief said that already details of this vicious crime has been shared with the media and further investigation in this regard has been set into motion.

He said that efforts are on to trace out the domestic helper, however, termed the claims of responsibility of militant organisations behind the case cooked up & baseless.

Mohinder Singh, another servant who worked at DG HK Lohia residence in an conversation with one of the national television channel said “I was coming downstairs after filling a bottle of water, I heard a loud noise and got scared. When I reached there were flames inside Sir’s room. The door was locked so we had to break it. DG Lohia came home at around 7 pm and this incident happened after 10 pm. His throat was slit and half of his body was burned. Yasir Ahmad was working here for 6 months and is absconding.”

Pertinently, police on Tuesday said that its initial investigation into the murder of Director General of Prison’s have ruled militancy angle and identified main accused to be his domestic helper Yasir Ahmad, a resident of Ramban.

Police also released a picture of suspected murderer.
