Srinagar, Dec 02 : Authorities in Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Wednesday placed a Class IV employee at the Secretary Office under suspension after allegations of harassment of lady officials in the corporation.
According to an order, Ghaneemat Wani, a Class IV employee at the Secretary’s office at SMC was placed under suspension with immediate effect.
“Pending enquiry, Mr. Ghaneemat Wani, Class IV, Secretary Office, is placed under suspension with immediate effect. The official is attached with Drainage Circle, SMC,” the order reads.
The order issued by the Joint Commissioner (ADM.) SMC added that the charge-sheet shall be issued separately.
