Ganderbal, July 12 : Several residential houses, roads got damaged in floods caused by cloudburst that hit Ganderbal area of Central Kashmir in the wee hours on Monday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said cloudburst hit Watlar area of Lar in Ganderbal triggering flash floods that resulted in losses to properties. However, there was no report of loss of life in the incident.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch, the residents blame local admin of Lar for failed to remove the encroachments on Charnari, The locals said that despite approached many times to the local authorities but nothing positive comes back.
Meanwhile, police, SDRF teams started rescue operation in the area to restore the road connectivity at earliest.
