Awantipora, Feb 05: A high-level delegation from Cluster University Srinagar, led by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Mobin, visited the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED–IUST Foundation) at IUST Innovation Campus, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST).
The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Parvez A. Mir, CEO CIED–IUST Foundation. During the interaction, Prof. Mir provided a comprehensive overview of the Foundation’s vision, initiatives and key achievements focused on fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and startup culture among students and young professionals. A detailed presentation outlining the operational framework, flagship programs and impact of CIED–IUST Foundation was also shared with the visiting team.
As part of the visit, Prof. Mohammad Mobin, along with members of the delegation, toured several state-of-the-art innovation and technology facilities established under the Foundation. These included the iFactory Lab, Design & Development (D&D) Lab, Fab Lab, UltraTech Cement Lab and other advanced laboratories supporting hands-on learning, research and product development.
The visit underscored the importance of inter-university collaboration, knowledge exchange and the promotion of innovation-driven education as a catalyst for sustainable development and regional growth.
