As the cases of Covid-19 continue to shoot up in Jammu and Kashmir, the necessity for an immediate response from administration, health facilities and SDRF remains mandatory.
The government has even started above 18 inoculation drives at various health centres but the registration process is somewhat intricate and, in some cases, even after fixing the appointment date a message of cancellation is forwarded a little later. This has caused great concern among the groups who wish to get vaccinated at an earliest.
The administration must close these registration lines until an ample supply of vaccine darts are procured at first as this will help to avoid any public inconvenience and confusion. The system needs to upgrade in order to face the pressing challenge of Covid-19 Second wave.
Furthermore, some of the citizens have even received messages on their mobile phones for being successfully vaccinated which is absolutely ridiculous, as these persons have not been inoculated yet.
Another concerning matter pertains to the procurement of Remedisivir, which is being dubbed as a life saving drug along with a dozen others. However, according to the recent studies published in international medical journals, treatment of Covid-19 patients through drugs like Remidisvir or even Plasma therapy have been largely discarded by the doctors commune.
Furthermore, the use of steroids in advance cases is also being avoided as the side effects to these medicines are yet to be known. The only possible way of avoiding contracting this disease is to ardently follow the SOP’s, go for double masks and try to get inoculated as soon as possible.
