JKRETTF demands review of decisi
Srinagar : There is commotion among teachers community over the cancellation of two papers of B.ed examination by IGNOU which was conducted on 7th and 8th of January of this month.
The teachers who are accaquring their degrees through the said university condemned the act of the university .
In a statement issued here Rehabar-e- Taleem teachers forum (JKRETTF) said that the examination centers was setup at different district and union territory head quawaters and many teachers who are at the verge of retirement were also asked to join the said examination.
They said that if there is any problem at any examination center the said center is need to be cancelled. They said that the university has cancelled the two papers of B.ed having course code of BES-128 and BES- 129 through out the state.
State chairman of Jammu Kashmir Rehabar-e-Taleem (JKRETTF) FA Tantray said that if their is any problem in any examination center ,however the cancellation of papers of all the centers is unacceptable and not genuine. He said that university authorities must review the decision of cancellation of the said papers on the whole.
He said that after conducting the examination of all the papers the cancellation order of two papers without mentioned any reason is injustice with the teachers of the state.
He said that during this harsh weather and bad condition of roads teachers reached to their respective examination centers and joined the examination and now they were asked by the university authorities that their two papers were cancelled and the next date of these two papers were fixed on 14th and 15th of February.
Teachers questioned to the university authorities that if there was any problem with respect to the exams in any center why the papers of all the centers was cancelled. They appealed to the higher authorities of education department as well as SAMGRA to intervene into the matter and take the matter with the IGNOU authorities. Tantray said that no concrete reason were mentioned By the university authorities for the cancellation of these two papers.
