Srinagar, March 22 : Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday declared March 24 as a holiday for government offices in view of the ongoing efforts to control the Coronavirus pandemic.
“In view of the ongoing efforts to control the Coronavirus pandemic, the government of J&K has declared Tuesday, 24 March,as a holiday for government offices. 23& 25 March are holidays already,” Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam told news agency.
Chief Secretary, however, said that the essential services will continue to function including medical, security, electricity and water supply services. (GNS)
