Coronavirus outbreak: Admin in action suspends medical agency, five other fined in Sopore

Sopore: At a time of world health crisis where growing spare of coronavirus is continually increasing, several medical shops are making quite a profit by looting customers by overcharging them for face masks and hand sanitizers.

Amid growing scare, A drug control department suspended one medical agency and fined many medical shops by violating laws in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Tuesday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a drug controller team on Tuesday during a surprise visit suspended one medical agency for selling sanitizers without the bill. The visiting team also fined two medical agencies and five shops for selling face masks without a bill in the town.

In another case, a drug team suspended a medical shop in Hyderbeigh who was selling sanitizers without the bill.

Meanwhile, a drug officer in Sopore Junaid Naseer talking with Kashmir Despatch about this development and said efforts will be on to stop this illegal business and to provide relief to the general public at this moment. He said that department will continue conduct market checking these days.
