Coronavirus: Qatar announces 238 new confirmed cases

Date:

Qatar announced 238 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Qatar for expatriates who had contact with the three cases that were declared infected last Sunday and who reside in one residential complex.

The ministry explained that the new cases that were registered are those who were subject to quarantine as a precautionary measure since the discovery of the three infected cases, which prevented them from contacting other members of society, bringing the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country to 262 cases so far.

The Ministry of Public Health of the country said that it is likely that the number of people infected with the virus will increase among contacts of the previously announced patients who are now in quarantine, calling on community members not to worry, as all confirmed cases are in very good health condition and are receiving medical care at the Communicable Disease Center.
