Coronavirus Scare : Section 144 imposed in Ananthnag

Authorities in District Ananthnag has imposed section 144 in the district to tackle the spread of the Coronavirus.

In an issued order copy which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads whereas it has been declared as pandemic by World Health Organization , It has afffeted several countries and few cases have also been spotted in india.Whereas, necessary precautions with regarding to prevention and control of , COVID-19, have already been undertaken by the District adminstration, Police and health authorities: and Whereas, COVI1)-19 has pattern of transmission at rapid rate. in case prescribed preventive protocols including avoiding mass gathering etc are not strictly followed. Now. therefore in view of avove mentioned facts. I Bashir Ahmad Dar. KAS. District Magistrate. Anantnag in exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 144 of crt, do here, impose restrictions over the assembly, gathering of more than 05 persons at any public place across entire District Anantnag including all towns and villages with immediate effect for a period of one month. Any voilation of this order by any person shall invite action under 11,. Issued today on 18th of March, 2020 reads order copy.

It is pertinent to mention administration in other districts of Jammu and Kashmir have also imposed restrictions to stop and prevent of COVID-19 from those who are infected.
