Jammu, Sept 02 : Jammu and Kashmir police in Udhampur district arrested a couple from Amritsar along with a major consignment of narcotics on Friday.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that major drugs consignment was recovered at Udhampur after two interstate drug smugglers were arrested with 07 kilograms of Heroine.
The statement reads that the accused have been identified as Lovepreet Singh and his wife Mandeep Kaur from Amritsar.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Udhampur and investigation has been taken up,” it reads.
