COVID-19 : J-K records another death, toll 32

Srinagar, June 02 : An elderly woman of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district who died on Monday and her swab sample turned positive this morning, taking the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir to 32.

An official also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said an elderly woman of Khanpora Baramulla died on Monday and her swab sample was taken and this morning report came positive.

This is a second death of a single family in Baramulla, earleir an elderly man became victim.

With this fatality, the death toll due to the virus in J&K has gone upto 32. So far Srinagar district has highest number of the fatalities—7 Baramulla with six, Ananthnag five, Kulgam has reported four, three from Shopian, Budgam and Jammu have two each and one death each has been reported from Bandipora, Doda and Udhampur.
