COVID-19 : J-K records fresh 6 positive cases at SKIMS sofar

Srinagar, June 05 : The number of positive cases of COVID-19 is rapidly increasing in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

In the first half of this day, six more persons tested positive for this virus at SKIMS Srinagar.

As per data available with Kashmir Despatch, among three from Srinagar, one each from Budgam, Shopian and Rajouri.

It is pertinent to mention here, A fresh death recorded in Srinagar district has become the latest victim of novel coronavirus in Kashmir Valley, taking the death toll due to the deadly disease to 36 in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Friday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch, A 65 year old woman fom Dandarkha Batamaloo who died in SMHS hospital in Srinagar has been tested positive for Covid-19.

With this fatality, the death toll due to the virus has gone upto 36 in J&K.
