J&K Govt orders mass promotion of students from Class 1st to 9th & Class 11th in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jammu and Kashmir Government have ordered mass promotion of students from class 1st to 9th and class 11th in view of the prevailing lockdown enforced by the government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An order to this effect has been issued by the principal secretary of school education Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch Ms. Veena Pandita, Chairperson Board of School Education J&K said, A notification in this regard will be issued by the board of school education today and this govt order has been issued in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and shall be applicable to Jammu Division in addition to Class 11th of Kashmir Zone who were scheduled to appear in the Biannual examination but subject to the certain conditions laid down by the Govt in its order.
