COVID-19 : Kashmir’s Will Forget to sleep, if summary of daily events will be shared : DC Srinagar

Srinagar : Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury on Sunday said people in Kashmir will forget to sleep if details of daily summary events will be shared.

Dr Shahid in an appeal to general public for cooperating to Administration said it’s role and responsibility of each and everyone to safeguard their lives, he said let’s keep our ego aside, work collectively and instead of raising panic and alram help each other to improve.

DC Srinagar in a tweet said it’s 3rd world war nothing else. He said if it passes we will have a lifetime for all that.

Earlier, Dr Shahid through Twitter blog appealed general public in Kashmir not to pay heed to the rumours as they are creating panic and havoc situation as they within the society. He had also said administration are dealing with romour-mongers , they ll face stern action as per the law.

The restrictions, under section 144CrPC, were imposed in Kashmir immediately after a 67-year-old woman, who returned from Saudi Arabia, tested positive for coronavirus on March 18, making her the first and only case of COVID-19 in Kashmir Valley so far.

According to officials, the restrictions on movement across Srinagar and other places are aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus. They said emergency and essential services including hospitals, power, water, fire & emergency, supplies & services, patient care facilities, waste disposal, sanitation, offices, ambulances, machinery have been exempted for the purview of the restrictions.
