COVID-19: Pregnant woman tests positive in Sopore

Sopore, May 28: A 35-year-old pregnant woman has tested positive for Covid-19 in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Thursday, taking the total toll of infected persons in the town to 36.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, a lady from Sopore is among fresh COVID-19 infected persons who have tested positive for this virus on Thursday.


A health official also confirmed this newspaper and said a 35-year-old Pregnant lady hailing from Chinkipora Sopore today tested positive for COVID-19, the officer said with this fresh case the total toll of infected people in town rose to 36.

Kashmir on Thursday recorded another COVID-19 death as a 65 years old coronavirus positive patient from Khanpora Baramullah in north Kashmir died, taking the death toll to 27 by this deadly disease in J&K.
