COVID-19 : Shopkeeper booked for violating Govt. Orders in Ganderbal

Srinagar, April 09 : Police in Central Kashmir’s area of Ganderbal district on Thursday booked a shopkeeper for violating government orders amid this growing COVID-19 scare.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch, a shopkeeper who identified as Abdul Rehman Kucchay of Naiteng Lar was booked for violating lockdown orders and a case FIR number 27/2020 U/S 188 IPC has been registered.

Officer however appealed people in the district to follow the restriction order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Pertinently, the precautionary measure across India were asked to take to contain spread of COVID-19.
