Srinagar, June 09 : An elderly man from North Kashmir’s Sopore became fresh victim of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning.
An official told Kashmir Despatch a 52 year old man from Chakrodikhan area of Sopore died at Srinagar hospital this morning. He said he was referred 4 days before after he had met with an accident in Sopore town.
With this fresh death the toll rises to 47 due to this infection in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pertinently, On Monday Kashmir witnessed five deaths due to COVID-19 infection, Among a CRPF trooper who was posted at South Kashmir District, A 35 year old resident of Khaniyar Srinagar, A 65 year old man from Handwara and a 55 year old man from Pampore town of south Kashmir and a 70 year old woman from Sheikh Pora Kreeri.
