Sopore Police came up with a thankful note to the general public of Apple Town for maintaining descipline and cooperating admin at this very crucial stage where threat of Covid-19 has been rapidly increased across the country since last month.
Station House officer Azim Iqbal commented over the role of Soporians said, we are very thankful to the majority, particularly youth of Sopore for cooperating with us and observing a complete shutdown today.
Officer said even tough there are some elements present in the town who are not following the guidelines and are putting other life at risk.
Officer said we have proper orders from higher authorities, whosoever is violating guidelines will be dealt strictly as per the law.
Officer said on Saturday several shopkeepers who voilated the norms were taken to the custody, however later on they were released with stern warning.
The officer in an appeal to general public said it’s role and responsibility of each and every one to safeguard their lives and I firmly believe Soporians will lead within example.
