COVID-19 tally crosses 500 mark in J-K

Srinagar, April 26 : With the fresh nine cases of COVID-19 positive in Srinagar hospital breached 500 mark in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch, nine fresh cases tested positive for COVID-19 in Chest disease hospital today and all are residents of south Kashmir. The official said the total number of COVID infected cases stands now at 505.

Pertinently, A 72-year-old COVID-19 patient from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district died at a hospital on Saturday, making it the sixth death in Jammu and Kashmir due the novel coronavirus.
