SHOPIAN, Mar 20: To ensure that masks and essential items are not sold at exorbitant rates in wake of corona threat an inspection team headed by Tehsildar Shopian, Bilal Ahmad along with Imtiyaz Ahmad Drug Inspector, among others conducted intensive Market checking of Shopian town.
The team which was constituted on the directions of District Development Commissioner Choudhary Mohammad Yaseen conducted the intensive market checking especially on the various medical shops .
Furthermore during checking the shopkeepers were sensitized and directed by the inspection team to display the rate list of masks and other essential medicines at the conscipicious places in their shops and restrain from overcharging and warned them that strict action for overcharging and hoarding will be taken against them.
