COVID-19: To evade restrictions, 43 people traveled by foot via Mughal road, quarantined by Poonch Police in last 10 days

Poonch, April 3 : In wake of lockdown, at least 43 people traveled from Kashmir to Poonch by foot along a mountainous route haven been quarantined by authorities here in last ten days.

Reports reaching GNS said that the people by evading restrictions amid a lockdown over Coronavirus pandemic traveled via Mughal road and reached Poonch since last ten days.

All the people were intercepted by the police at Dogri and accordingly have been quarantined.

Confirming it, SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral said that all the 43 persons who have adopted the route Mughal road have been been quarantined by Poonch Police. (GNS)
