Srinagar, July 27: Ten more patients who tested positive for COVID-19 died on Monday, taking the total number of deaths in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 328.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that during the day seven Srinagar residents among ten persons died due to this coronavirus in Kashmir Division.
He said among ten patients who died including a 65-year-old from Latar masjid Safakadal Srinagar, 85-year-old from Samboora Pulwama, 80-year-old from Barzulla Srinagar, 75-year-old from Iddgha Srinagar, 69-year-old from Hyderpora Srinagar, 65-year-old from Hanjoora village of Chadoora District Budgam, A 60-year-old man from Hawal Srinagar, a 60-year old man from Bemina Srinagar, a 70-year-old man from Behipora village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district and 60-year-old from Buchpora Srinagar.
Meanwhile, sources told Kashmir Despatch that that Block President of National Conference at Iddgha constituency is among the Monday COVID fatalities.
With ten fresh deaths, the COVID fatalities touched 328 which include 23 from Jammu division and 305 from Kashmir division.
