Srinagar, July 20 : Four Srinagar residents among nine persons died of COVID-19 in Kashmir Division on Monday, taking the fatalities to 256 in J&K.

Official sources informed Kashmir Despatch that among the victims A 65-year-old man from Rafiabad Baramulla, A-45-year-old man from Pampore, A-60-year-old man from Tankipora Srinagar, A-70-year-old man from Zoonimar Srinagar, A 65-year-old from Zakura area of Srinagar district, A resident of HabbaKadal area of Srinagar, A 73-year-old man from Nagri Malipora area of Kupwara, A female from Shadipora Kupwara and a man from Dangerpora area of Anantnag district lost their lives due to this deadly virus at Srinagar hospital on Monday.

The COVID death toll now stands at 256 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported fresh 751 COVID positive cases.
