SRINAGAR, Dec 12: The 79th Battalion of the CRPF, Sonwar, Srinagar, successfully organized the closing ceremony of its Human Resource Development activities under the Civic Action Program (SRESE) on December 12, 2024.
The event marked the successful completion of skill development training courses in Make-up Artist and Front Office Associate disciplines.
As per a statement issued here the ceremony took place at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Sonwar, Srinagar, in the presence of Kishore Kumar, Commandant-79BN. “A total of 60 students completed the training—30 in the Make-up Artist course and 30 in the Front Office Associate course,” reads the statement.
Also, addressing the gathering, Kishore Kumar stressed the initiative aimed to empower youth by enhancing their skills for a brighter and self-reliant future. He underlined the Ministry of Home Affairs’ commitment to such projects and reaffirmed the CRPF’s role in addressing social responsibilities through programs like these.
The statement further reads, Kishore Kumar extended his gratitude to Abdul Hamid Fani, Director of School Education Kashmir, and Nikhat Mir, Principal of the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, for their support. He also commended the dedication of all teachers and trainers involved in the training for their efforts to nurture the aspirations of young minds.
