Srinagar: CRPF in south Kashmir’s Kokernag village on Friday distributed Sewing machines and carpenter tools to the needy people of that area.
According to the statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads, UNDER THE CRPF SCHEME OF MADADGAAR, the DISTRIBUTION OF SEWING MACHINE AND CARPENTER TOOLS ON 27/01/2023 CRPF Madadgaar Yojna was officially launched on 16 June 2017 with the sole objective of extending our support to the needy people of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the auspicious occasion of the 74th Republic Day celebrations, a special drive was launched by CRPF to distribute 74 Sewing Machines at different places in Kashmir Valley under the guidance of Sh. M.S. Bhatia, IGP KOS CRPF.
As a part of this special campaign on 27/01/2023, 06 families selected were distributed with Sewing Machines, and another family was given Carpenter Mechanical Tools set under the Madadgaar Scheme at a function organized by 164 Bn CRPF, Kokernag, Anantnag which was presided over by Sh. Kumar Navin, Commandant 164 Bn CRPF, mentioned that CRPF Madadgaar is seen as hope for thousands of distressed and empowering the society for self-reliance and sustainability.
The Function was attended by SDM & SDPO Kokernag besides unit officers.
