Srinagar, July 20 :A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper allegedly committed suicide in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar district on Monday morning.
Official said that the CRPF trooper of 29 Battalion of F Coy was deployed in PS Pantha Chowk.
“He has been identified as constable GD Biswajit Dutta. He is from Nadia district of West Bengal. Apparently, he has shot himself from his own service rifle,” an official said. Meanwhile, investigation have been commenced by the police.
