CRPF man killed, 3 injured in Bandipora road accident

Bandipora, Oct 16: A central reserve police force (CRPF) personnel was killed while three others sustained Injuries in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Bandipora District on Friday morning.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that today morning one BP Gypsy of 03 BN CRPF skipped off the road at Nasoo area of Bandipora during deploying troopers.

In the mishap three CRPF men sustained injured and were taken to the nearby hospital where one among succumbed to his injures.

A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch and Identified deceased trooper as Naresh Kumar.

The officer said other three injured CRPF men are undergoing treatment and are said to be stable. He identified them as Ravi Raj , Ankit Kumar Gupta AC and Vinod Kumar Yadiv AC.

The officer added a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
