CRPF sponsored Bharat Darshan Tour : Students explore outside Kashmir, Back Home

Baramulla : A Bharat Darshan Tour of 14 different schools of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was on Thursday was flagged in at 53 Bn, CRPF district police line Baramulla.

A CRPF official told Kashmir Despatch that the tour aimed to motivate students from remote areas to get a first hand feel of culturally rich places of our country and also motivate them to join the jawans feelings. The tour also aimed at spreading a message of Goodwill about the Genuine Efforts being undertaken by the centre forces in developing the youth of the region.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of CRPF in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch said “Bharat Darshan” tour of 23 students of Baramulla conducted today in 53 Bn, CRPF District Police Line Baramaula (J&K).

The tour was flagged off on May 07/05/2022 in an impressive ceremony organized in the 53 Battalion HQR. Sh. Megh Raj, Commandant-53 Bn, CRPF and Sh. GM Lone, Chief Education Officer and Sh. Balbir Singh Raina welcomed students. Students from 14 different Schools of Baramula were part of the tour. They exchanged their thoughts on tour. Students had great experience of flying from Sringar to Delhi and back during the tour . They has also interacted with senior officers of CRPF, They met with Sh. Anil Kumar, DIG, GC-II-Ajmer on 09/05/2022.

Students visit KMC Dargah, Samrat Prathaviraj Chauhan Samark, Taragarh Fort, Faysagar lake, Ana Sagar lake, Pushkar in Ajmer and Tajmahal, Fatehpur Sikari and Buland Darwaja in UP, Ambience Mall, Red Fort and famous tourism places of Delhi during the week-long tour.

Sh. GM Lone expressed gratitude towards team CRPF for providing opportunity to the students of the interior Baramula, Children will definitely become good citizens in future and contribute for India.

Sh. Megh Raj, Commandant-53 Bn interacted with the children returned from the tour and expressed hope that they have learned a lot while enjoying the tour and their experience will be helpful for them in their future. He wished all the children a bright future ahead.

Sh. Naveen Jha, AC, Sh Saroj Jha, Sh. Parveen Kumar AC, and Sh, Manish Shukla were also present in the programme.
