Srinagar, June 18: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper committed suicide by shooting self in south Kashmir’s Awantipora on Thursday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a CRPF Jawan identified as Moti Ram of 178 BN who was posted on Convey duty committed suicide earlier this morning.
The official said his actual post was at Reshipora Zanapora Shopian.
A police officer said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
