The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for undergraduate admissions was successfully conducted in District Baramulla from May 15th to May 18th. A total of 8043 students participated in the examination over the course of four days.
Three institutes in Sopore were designated as examination centers: Sanctorum Institute, SRM Welkin, and Gulzar Memorial. The exam was administered in a pen-and-paper format and held in two shifts each day.
The successful execution of the examination process was largely due to the concerted efforts of the examination centers and the continuous support from the district administration and police. Despite the busy schedule due to election rallies, police were deployed over these four days to maintain law and order and regulate traffic effectively.
I extend my gratitude to the Deputy Comissioner Baramulla, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Chief Education Officer Baramulla, and the Superintendent of Police of Sopore for their unwavering support and cooperation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the CUET 2024 (UG) examination.
