Srinagar, 02 Nov: The first Annual Day function was celebrated at ‘Dagger Parivaar School’ Baramulla on 01 November 2022.
The School is designed for specially-abled children of Baramulla, with a current strength of 66 children with different medical conditions. The Guests of honour, Mrs Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Mr Punit Balan had come, all the way from Pune to motivate the students.
The students presented a group dance, a group song, solo dance etc, among other performances. The captivating energy and enthusiasm was praised by the parents and other attendees.
Indian Army and Indrani Balan Foundation’s joint initiative for this noble cause has been valued by all citizens in the valley. Mrs Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Mr Punit Balan appreciated the smooth functioning of the school and the annual report of first year, which was given out by Mrs Sabia Farooq, Principal, Dagger Parivaar School. The teachers were also felicitated for their hard work and dedication for the students and school.
GOC 19 Infantry Division, on the occasion interacted with the children and parents. He reiterated Indian Army’s all round support for the wellbeing of local citizens. The event was supported and encouraged by different administrative offices of Baramulla to include Deputy Collecterate, Govt Medical College, Education Department and the ICICI Bank.
