Kupwara, July 20 : Doctors Association Kupwara has strongly condemned the attack and manhandling on a duty Lady doctor at PHC Wadipora Handwara today
Dr Ayjaz Ahmad Bhat, President DAK Kupwara in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch said that it has become a routine for unruly and jingoistic mobs to target the docters across the state for no fault of theirs.
Strongly condemning the incident at PHC Wadipora by some hooligans, DAK stressed upon the authorities to immediately book the culprits behind the attack and take stringent action against the persons violating the Covid 19 advisories
This is not the first time that the docters are attached by goons on duty. This is going on since a long time. Our concern for patient care is taken as our helplessness. The lackadiscal approach by the authorities are adding fuel to it.
Pertinently, on Monday a health team was abused and attacked in north Kashmir’s Tangmerg village during sampling drive.
