Keran: Army on Sunday evening claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition along the line of control (LOC) in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, days after foiling infiltration bid.
An army official told Kashmir Despatch that during the search operation following killing of a militant in a infiltration bid, arms and ammunition were recovered along the line of control at Pharkita area in Keran sector.
An official while sharing the details of recoviers to this newspaper said AK-47 -01, Mag.AK-47 -04, Rounds AK-47 -60, Pistal 9mm -04 , Pistal Mag -09, Pistal Rounds -220 and Grenade Chinese 17.
Pertinently, on Thursday evening army claimed to have foiled an inflitration bid in Pharkita area of Kupwara’s Keran sector.
