Baramulla,May 09:Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr GN Itoo accompanied by SSP Baramulla Ab Qayoom today paid visit to the recently declared Red Zone Shairbag Colony of Baramulla district where he took appraisal of the situation especially observing lockdown and other related anti corona activities.
On the occasion, DC directed the functionaries that has been deputed at the area, to ensure all the requisite health advisories for properly followed in letter and spirit so that the spread of infection is controlled. He also met various stake holders here and assured them that all the essential commodities shall be facilitated at their door steps.
Meanwhile, DC sought said their cooperation in enforcing lockdown for the prescribed time period and appealed to maintain social distance and stay indoors.
Later the DC inspected the quarantine centre established in Saint Joseph school where the students who had returned from different states have been kept in quarantine. DC took a detailed review of various necessities during which he exhorted to ensure adequate facilities especially at Sehri and Iftaar times so that they may not face any inconvenience.
