Baramulla: District Commissioner Baramulla has ordered re-verification and rectification over the ration list in the district.
As per the details available with Kashmir Despatch, “Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. G.N Ittoo has issued Re-verification and Rectification order regarding Ration List in which Tehsildar concerned is the chairman at Tehsil level and Patwari concerned is the head of the committee at Mohalla/ Village level, the formal verification process has not started yet because of other important emergencies”.
Meanwhile, AD Food Baramula Shiekh Tariq in a message to the general public said, “My appeal to every consumer kindly don’t venture out for this purpose, don’t make gatherings, the committee will visit you”.
“Food & Supplies Department is linking Aadhaar Card with Ration Card From September 2020 onwards, Ration will be issued only on Aadhaar authentication, those who don’t have Aadhaar card need not be panic, but try to get your Aadhaar, we have to link it”, he added.
