Baramulla, 14 August: On the directions of Lituenant Governor J&K to provide immediate relief to the militancy victims, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar accompanied by ADC Sopore today paid visit to Sopore town and handover an ex gratia relief of Rs. 25 lack each among the next of kins of those who lost their lives in a militant attact that took place at Sopore on 29-03-2021.
It is worth here to mention, that two Municipal Counselors lost their lives in a militant attack in Sopore on 29th March of this year.
On the occasion, DC expressed his sympathy to the families of the deceased and assured them full support from the district administration whenever needed.
The families of the deceased have expressed gratitude to UT government for providing immediate ex-gratia relief.
