Srinagar, Feb 06 : District Development Commissioner Anantnag Anshul Garg on Saturday issued notification for the election of Chairperson and Vice chairperson for DDC Anantnag.
As per the notification the election will be held at Dak Bungalow Anantnag on 11 February at 11 am.
“In pursuance of sub-rule (4) of rule 108-ZN of the Jammu & Kashmir Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996, I, Anshul Garg, IAS, District Election Officer(Deputy Commissioner) Anantnag, do hereby give notice that a meeting of the District Development Council shall be held on 11.02.2021 at 11 AM at Dak Bungalow Khanabal, Anantnag to elect Chairperson/Vice Chairperson of the District Development Council under Section 45-B of the Act”, reads an order.
It is pertinent to mention here that DDC chairperson/vice chairperson elections were held in five districts of J&K on Saturday.
