DDC Mawer Inaugurates Overhead Pedestrian Steel Bridge in Langate

Srinagar, Aug 15 : District Development council member Khursheed Ahmed Dar from Mawer (Qalamabad) Constituency Sunday inaugurated single span overhead Pedestrian Steel Bridge on Langate Bangus road here in Qalamabad Langate to provide easy access to the students and people in general.

The overhead bridge, constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore, offers a much-needed pedestrian access to the students from across the Government Boys Higher Secondary Qalamabad.

The work of the overhead foot bridge Qalamabad was started back in 2017 by Ex MLA Er Rashid to Join the two dived academic blocks of Boy Higher secondary Qalamabad.

During the inauguration, the DDC Mawer was joined by BDC Mawer Tahir Ah, Principal Mohammed Maqbool, Panchayat body, and representatives from Block Development office and AIP senior leader Nazir Ahamd War.

Later DDC Mawer along with BDC Mawer, visited Higher secondary school to inspect the infrastructure and other routine activities.

The DDC Mawer Khursheed Ah Dar assured all possible support to improve the infrastructure of Government boys higher secondary, and also promised a library for the school.

He extended his warm gratitude to district administration and panchayat body for their overwhelming support and friendly cooperation to carry the development works in the Mawer block, he added.

The locals hailed the efforts of DDC Mawer, BDC Mawer and appreciated their developmental work.
