SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 25: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of works under the District Capex for the ongoing year (2024-25) and proposals for next year (2025-26) under UT/ District Capex.
At the outset, DDC was apprised about the details of current year UT/ Capex works by officers including works taken up sector wise, along with financial implications and their desired outputs.
The DDC emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, exhorting officials to expedite the execution process within the time.
On the occasion, DDC sought sector wise plan proposals for next year, 2025-26 from sector and district officers while asking them to prioritise important and flagship projects under both District and UT Capex including works which have significant impact for public benefit.
The meeting was attended by JDP (CPO), CEO, CMO, DYSSO, CEO, MC, Executive Engineers, DFO, AEEs and DIO.
