DDC, SSP Bandipora Flags-off Bike Riders Rally to Gurez Valley

Bandipora, April 27:– District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Shahbaz Mirza and SSP Bandipora Shri Rahul Malik IPS flagged-off a group of bike riders from Mini Secretariat Bandipora to Gurez today.
 
The group comprising of 20 bike riders from Bandipora district are participating in this event and will make their 85 Km long journey through Razdan Top.


The Motorcycle run through the Gurez road is a big manoeuvre towards the promotion of adventure tourism of Jammu and Kashmir in common and district Bandipora in particular.


The run was organised by group of motorcyclists of the district Bandipora because the district is unheeded and neglected by Government and Tourism department despite of its natural beauty still in the hands of nature.
This run is an initiative to draw the dormant mind of Government towards the unfading beauty of District. This initiative encourage the youth to participate in adventurous sports said, Suhail Rather the president of Legend riders club.The district has many tourist spots viz Tragbal,Wullar Lake, Hapatnar, Tulail, Sirender, Athwatoo, Buthoo, and Krisilpati. Besides the shortest trekking route to mount harmukh.

Whole Harmukh and its fringe still blooming in the fledge of nature.The youth appeal the government to pay attention towards this unattended district and approve these places in tourism department as tourist spots.
The main objective of the event is to promote adventure tourism in the state particularly in Bandipora district.


Among others who were present are Dysp DAR Ab Rashid Khan, PZ Khursheed Ahmad Nodal officer Khelo India, Yameen un Nabi Designated food officer, Major Aman.
