Kangan, Nov 06 : The body of a newborn was recovered in a hospital in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a newborn baby was found in a bathroom in Kangan hospital on Friday morning by some attendents accordingly police was informed.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that soon after recieved information a team rushed to the spot, he said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
Pertinent to mention here, since past two years many such cases were reported in the valley.
In one instance in 2015, a dead newborn was carried to Press Enclave by a dog. Last year, a newborn baby was found abandoned near Bahuddin Ganj Baksh Park at Nowhatta locality.
