Baramulla, Sep 26: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday stated that the children of underprivileged sections can now participate in leading the nation as the decisive and apartheid walls created by Muftis, Nehrus, Abdullahs have crumbled to dust after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media on the sidelines of a function at Dak Banglow Baramulla, Tarun Chugh said that the ground situation has changed drastically in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir as there is development everywhere after the abrogation of Article 370.
“People have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government which can be seen in the previously held DDC and BDC elections where lakhs of people casted their votes,” he said as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent.
He said the voice of common people was silenced & suppressed but not anymore.
“There was a stigma created that youth falling under SC/ST category can never become doctors, engineers, MLA’s, scientists but these notions have become outdated after the Article 370 was abrogated and now children of all backgrounds can participate in the development of the nation. “There is a window of opportunity for everyone to follow their dreams whether they want to be DDC, BDC, or MLA,” he added.
He said the family dominance has gone forever as they only made people of Jammu and Kashmir to suffer for their personnel benefits as they were the prime architects of turning this tranquil place into the capital of Terrorism.
He further added that like Delhi, Mumbai and other metropolitan states have moved towards development Jammu and Kashmir will also witness a new dawn of progress.
