Delina Premier League Concludes, Spartan Strikers Baramulla lift the title

Delina, Sep 19 : After a period of one month today the Grand Finale of Delina Premier League was played between Spartan Strikers Baramulla and Bluestar Naidkhai.

Batting first Bluestar Naidkhai managed to scored 159/10 in 18 overs.Amir with 33 was the top scorer for them while as Afaq scored valuable 31 runs.For Baramulla Waseem Shah and Bariz Ayoub Took 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

In reply Spartan Strikers Baramulla chased down the target easily in 15 overs for the loss of 5 wickets(162/5).Bariz Ayoub scored 68 runs while as Irfan Lala ,Muntazir scored 30 and 23 runs for them.Afaq took 3 wickets for Bluestar Naidkhai.


Bariz Ayoub was declared as man of the match for his brilliant All-round Performance(Rs 2000 Cash+Trophy) while as Boom Boom Muntazir was declared Man Of The Tournament for his brilliant all-round performance (287 runs +13 wickets).He received a cash prize of Rs 3000 and a Trophy.

Total 32 teams across the valley participated in this tournament. The winning team(Spartan Strikers Baramulla) received a Cash Prize of Rs 50 thousand and A Trophy while as the Runners team(BlueStar Naidkhai) received a Cash Prize of Rs 25 thousand.
Moreover, the MD of Ahmad Public School Delina also gave a cash prize of Rs 50 thousand to the finalists of the tournament,in which the winning team received Rs 30 thousand cash and runners team received Rs 20 thousand cash.

The tournament was organised by Delina Cricket Forum and was sponsored by Zeba Poultry Delina.
