Srinagar, Aug 04 : The coordination cell, School Herbal Garden Scheme conducted a programme regarding various aspects of the scheme in the conference Hall of the Directorate of school Education Kashmir on Wednesday.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, a spokesperson said that the programme was chaired by the Director School Education, Dr. Tassaduq Hussain. “On this occasion, 05 documentaries highlighting biodiversity and environmental issues viz. Water, Medicinal Plants, Plastic Pollution, Morels, etc. were screened and were released by the Director.”
The statement reads that on this occasion, Nodal Officers of the scheme Mr. Manzoor Javaid and Dr. Rouf Hamza gave power point presentation and appraised the director about ongoing activities under the aegis of the Herbal Garden Scheme.
“The District coordinators of Herbal Garden Scheme and One Earth One Home Project and some curators were felicitated by the Director for their exemplary work and dedication,” it reads.
