Despite health issues, authorities not referring Imran to hospital

Srinagar, Dec 12: Deputy Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Sheikh Mohammad Imran Thursday said despite having multiple health problems, authorities are yet to admit him in the hospital.

In a statement, Shiekh who is under continuous detention after the abrogation of Article 370 on Aug 05 said that despite have multiple health problems authorities are yet to shift him in the hospital.

He said apart from heart and kidney problems, Shiekh is also suffering from a back pain disc problem, from past 4 months.

“The result of one of the heart tests is negative and for that, I should have referred to SKIMS or other super specialty hospital but no is bothered for the same,” he said.

“It is a conspiracy by authorities to kill me in the detention and if any untoward happen they would be responsible for that,” Shiekh said.

Apart from being elected independently, he said it is unfortunate that such things are being done under the patronage of some vested persons.

Sheikh also questioned authorities that why he has been put under house arrest without knowing the reasons.

In the apartment, the ex.MLA Altaf Kaloo is also suffering from various health problems and urged authorities to refer him for the treatment at SHMS or SKIMS.
