Inorder to review the security scenario and measures to combat CoronaVirus the DIG North Kashmir Sh.Mohmmad Suleman Chaudhary -IPS today visited district Bandipora were chaired a meeting with jurisdictional Police officers at District Police Lines Bandipora.SSP -Bandipora Sh Rahul Malik-IPS gave a detailed presentation regarding the security scenario of the district and measures put in place by Bandipora police in combating the CoronaVirus.
During the meeting with Police officers the DIG reviewed the security situation , counter insurgency operations and preparation/measures taken to contain the spread of Novel CoronaVirus in the district.
The DIG directed the officers to strengthen the security grid and plug the gaps with strict security measures. About COVID-19 containment efforts he directed the officers to take all necessary steps in implementing the government orders on ground.He directed the officers to follow the health protocols issued in maintaining social distancing among the general public and also appreciated the efforts of police in bringing district Bandipora in Orange Zone.
